Penne Pasta
Ingredients
- 6 Tablespoons Extra Light Olive Oil
- 1 Can Chicken Broth
- 3 Cloves Garlic
- 2 Teaspoons Dried Basil
- 1 Teaspoon Red Pepper
- 1 Pound Penne Pasta
- 2 1/2 Cups Havarti Cheese
- 1/2 Cup Parmesan Cheese
- 1 1/2 Cups Sweet Onion
- 3 Cans (28 ounce cans) Cento Plum Tomatoes
Preparation
- Heat 3 tablespoons of olive oil in a large pan.
- Add chopped onions and minced garlic and saute.
- Mix in tomatoes, basil, and red pepper.
- Bring to a boil and break up tomatoes.
- Add broth and again bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and allow to simmer for 30 minutes.
- Cook pasta and drain.
- Add remaining 3 tablespoons of olive oil to pasta and toss.
- Mix pasta with sauce and havarte cheese.
- Put in 9×13 baking dish and sprinkle top with parmesan cheese.
- Bake at 375 for 30 minutes.
